Episode 2

The beach in Hammond, Oregon has one of the highest erosion rates of the whole Oregon Coast. Each year, another 1-2 feet of beach surface disappears into the waves.

In Episode 2 of CoastWatch & Listen, marine geologist Ed Joyce shares his expertise with Emily and Sascha as they trace the story of the shifting sands on Mile 339.
